I watched a couple of episodes of Avatar the Last Airbender tonight, hence the Aang sketch.

I've been watching several versions of A Christmas Carol lately and was inspired to sketch this guy.

I was watching American Chopper tonight and it inspired me to do this little doodle.

More Christmas

I've decided that I missed way too much of the Christmas season this year with the move to the new house. So I'm still going to celebrate for the next month or so. This isn't much different than other years where I hold onto Christmas more so than most people but this year I'm going to really do my best to keep the spirit going longer and more cheerfully.

I forgot to upload this one. I did it at 2 in the morning but I still think it came out ok. I did it all in Photoshop.

Colored version

I colored part of one the guys below. The reason I didn't do his legs is because I was lazy. It's actually really tough for me to draw straight lines on my tablet even when I'm just "inking" something that was already drawn. So I left them out.

Posting more regularly

I've been doing a lot of quick sketches lately and figured that I should start getting some of them up online.  So I'll be trying to make a weekly post here with the sketches I've done throughout the week.  Anyway that's the plan.

No I haven't been playing Mario Kart all this time. Sure I played a bit but I've just been lazy. The so called art will be making a comeback soon.

Creepy Guy

Not much of an update but I did draw this creepy looking little guy. I meant to scan in the sketch at a higher dpi but I did it at 150 dpi and was too lazy to rescan. So the picture is small but I'm pretty happy with the colors so I decided it was worth posting.

Another Hulk

I felt like doing another Hulk in a different style this evening. It's better than the first in my opinion but still lightyears from where I'd like to be.

Here's a quick Hulk I did. Again not nauseating but I need a ton more practice. I might touch this one up a bit later on.

Photoshopped Knight

I wanted to test some things out by scanning a quick sketch into Photoshop and seeing what I could do with the inks and colors.

This is a knight I drew while I was waiting for the tow truck to arrive one day after my car died. I'm not unhappy with the results considering how long it has been since I really practiced my drawing at all. Also the fact that this was my first real attempt at working with my drawings in Photoshop does show but again I don't feel it's nauseatingly bad (which is what I half expected). The one thing that turned out terrible was the alignment on the hammer's handle. Oh well... Hopefully I'll get better at this as time goes on. I plan on touching this one up a lot more as a get a better handle on Photoshop but I wanted to post it for now because... well... just because.
